Save the Date

Mark your calendars now for the “Bring Your Own Shovel Plant Sale” at Geneva Heights Elementary School, March 26, 9 am- 3 pm. It’s your chance to purchase the perennials, shrubs, and bulbs in the beautiful gardens, before they are destroyed during the school’s reconstruction.

Geneva Heights Elementary, which opened its doors in 1931 as Robert E. Lee Elementary, became Dallas County Master Gardeners’ first school garden project. While preserving the mature trees is a priority, there is no realistic way to save the five distinct garden areas as they completely rebuild the campus.

After 17 years of gardening at Geneva Heights, there is a bounty of plants and tools that will please gardeners. At prices that will make them smile.

Check back in early March for more details.
