The New Year will soon be upon us, and I thought it would be helpful to publish the dates we will be having our DCMGA meetings for 2024 so everyone can get them in the diary.

Thanks to the hard work of a small group of Master Gardeners, Monica Nagle, Dorothy Thompson, Cookie Peadon, Glen McGee, Zandra Faris and Joellyn Nobbe, we have been able to purchase and test run the computer, projector and speakers we recently purchased to enable us to get a high quality recording of each monthly meeting. As we now have everything we need, we are able to use virtually any venue as long as it has wifi. If you have any ideas about a meeting venue for 2024/25 please let me know!

The two Saturday meetings were very well attended this year and the decision was made to have another two meetings on a Saturday morning in 2024. CC Young have been a very accommodating and fun host (who can forget the confetti canon?) and we will be returning there next year. To try and reach as many Master Gardeners (and members of the public) as possible, these meetings will be held in the Fall next year.

A change has been made in response to the 2023 questionnaire responses. The meeting will now begin at 12noon and end at 1.30pm. This is to enable people who work in the gardens to attend the meeting.

28^th September 2024 –   a Saturday meeting

24^th October 2024

23^rd November 2024- a Saturday meeting

There will be no meeting in July or December of 2024.

It has been great to meet so many Master Gardeners and their friends over the last few months. As ever, if you have any suggestions about speakers, venues or just any general feedback, I would love to hear it.
