DCMGA Welcomes Zandra Faris as President

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.”  John Quincy Adams

Dallas County Master Gardeners have been so fortunate to have strong, dedicated leaders serve on their Board. After President Glen McGee stepped down as President, Zandra Faris graciously volunteered to complete his term of office.  Zandra (Class of 2013) is no stranger to leadership of the DCMGA, having served as Second Vice President (2017-2018), President (2019-2020), and Past President (2021-2022).

Prior to becoming Master Gardener, Zandra had a distinguished career as an occupational therapist and served as CEO and COO of various rehab hospitals. She has been married to Terry for 55 years and is the proud mother of Scott and grandmother of three wonderful grandsons.

On behalf of the DCMGA, thank you, Zandra, for your service, and we look forward to being inspired to further our mission to educate and serve the citizens of Dallas County.
