Continuing Education

Are you looking for ways to complete your Continuing Education hours?

Master Gardeners are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education this year. Please use this list to help yourself identify continuing education opportunities that you are interested in.

Please note that dates and times are subject to change and classes or events may occasionally be cancelled or postponed due to federal, state, and/or local restrictions, weather, etc. We recommend that you reconfirm by e-mail or on the event host’s website before attending.

Please remember that courses associated with gardening can be counted toward continuing education hours, as long as they are research based. If you are watching a previously recorded presentation, enter the date you watched the presentation so to receive credit.

CEU hours earned during the month should be reported no later than the 5th day of the following month. Late hours should still be reported but will not count toward certification. All 2024 hours must be reported by 12/31/2024.

Dallas Arboretum Presentations: All Dallas County Master Gardeners may attend the presentations at the Dallas Arboretum free of charge.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Cindy Large at Cindylarge2014@yahoo.com.
