Congratulations to the 32 members of the DCMG Class of 2023, who became Certified Master Gardeners at their graduation on June 1st held at Dallas Community College, Brookhaven Campus. Before receiving their certificates, Master Gardener Interns of the Year awards were given to Michael Blum and Barbara Leedy.  Val Reiss and Lisa Reese also received special recognition for their exemplary leadership as Master Gardener School coordinators.

After the ceremony a lovely reception with a live band was enjoyed by all in the lobby, and the new graduates enjoyed taking photos with each other and listening to the music.  Special thanks to Lisa LaClede and Bernie Paul for coordinating this special celebration.  We look forward to working with all our new graduates in our many DCMG projects and community outreach events.  Kudos to the Class of 2023!
