The Armstrong Elementary School Garden was founded in 2014 by two experienced and passionate Master Gardeners who wanted to create a learning space for the school’s students.

Nancy Wilson was named 2022 Speaker of the Year by the Dallas County Master Gardeners Association (DCMGA) at their annual awards ceremony this past February.
The MGs met at TDG biweekly, working area by area, using field guides, online applications, and their own personal knowledge to identify the trees and plot their location on the quadrant maps.
Located near the Texas Discovery Gardens’ (TDG) main entrance and butterfly house, the garden supports the mission of TDG to provide horticultural education.
Farmers Branch Community Garden includes 60 individual garden plots plus an orchard, herb garden, and butterfly garden
Raincatcher’s Garden of Midway Hills is one of two Dallas County Master Gardener (DCMG) research, education, and demonstration projects.
