Project Spotlight
March 4th was Project Spotlight Day, an opportunity for the Master Gardener Class of 2025 to become familiar with the DCMG approved projects and a few Garden Liaison projects. Project Leaders from RB 1, Raincatcher’s Garden, Juliette Fowler Communities, Texas Discovery Garden, White Rock Bath House, Temple Emanu-El, Salvation Army, Anne Frank Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, and Oak Cliff Parks were on hand to provide short teasers, answer questions, share plants and inspire students to volunteer now that they can officially do so. Garden Liaison Projects included the Juvenile Detention Centers for Boys and Girls as well as the Biblical Arts Center.

Students were encouraged to visit many projects so that they could become familiar with the array of outstanding volunteer opportunities available throughout Dallas County. We can’t wait to welcome the Class of 2025 to our projects!
