Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is an education agency that reaches every Texas county with its unique team of professional educators, specially-trained volunteers and county extension agents.

Their mission, as a member of the state’s land-grant system, was revised in June 2021 to read as follows: “Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services works daily to make Texas better by providing innovative solutions at the intersection of agriculture, natural resources, youth and health, thereby providing the well-being of individuals, families, businesses, and communities through education and service.”

The Dallas County Master Gardeners have a successful partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and support them by significantly expanding their outreach efforts through volunteerism.
