Help Desk is a lawn and garden information service that is FREE to the public.  Simply send your lawn and garden questions to the Help Desk and our volunteers will combine their AgriLife training, online research and a wealth of hands-on gardening experience to provide answers.

The best way to contact the Help Desk is by email. Send your question to dallasmg@ag.tamu.edu and include as much detail as you can. You can attach photos to help describe the problem.

Include what you know about the plant or grass in question (its name, age and history of problems); the quantity of light it gets (sun, shade, part shade); the type of soil it’s planted in (native Dallas black soil, a special flower bed mix, etc.); and how much and how often you water it and whether you water automatically or manually.
